Effective governance frameworks are essential to project or organisation success, particularly in foreseeing and responding to changing demands or disruptive events.
Governance frameworks are the rules, relationships, systems and processes by which organisations or projects are directed, controlled and the means by which the organisation or project, and organisation or project leaders, are held to account.
For the organisation to operate effectively and efficiently or for the project to be completed effectively and efficiently, good governance is essential.
Strategic Thinking
Most executives wish they had more time for strategic thinking and for people at all levels in their organisations to be thinking strategically.
It is essential that strategic thinking is embedded in the organisation rather an annual activity to produce a strategy plan. Strategy is a process not a product.
Knowing how to facilitate strategic thinking in organisations or having a mentor to provoke strategic thinking can be critical to success.

Process improvement has at its core the elimination of unnecessary steps or procedures to deliver efficiencies – time, money and use of resources.
Improving project governance and delivery processes through problem solving by mentoring or facilitation can assist in project planning and delivery, saving time, money and resources.
Coaching & Mentoring
Coaching and mentoring individuals and teams in problem solving, process improvement and strategic thinking.
A mentor can be useful in acting as a sounding board or independent adviser to assist executives work through issues and improve performance.

As a reflective adviser, facilitator and mentor, I assist leaders of organisations solve their unique challenges through ‘outside-the-box’ thinking.
My thorough understanding of the challenges facing leaders in business and government is supported by my experience as senior executive and strategic adviser in transport, utilities, planning and development. As a lawyer, engineer and planner, I have a strong ability to identify effective solutions to complex problems by analysing the challenges through various lenses and layers of intricacy.
